We are collecting this information to enable the church to run smoothly and pass on communications as appropriate.
Data Protection legislation allows us to process this information as we regard it as being in the church’s legitimate interest.

Any details, such as email addresses and phone numbers, which you have provided to ensure the smooth running of church administration, will be stored on password protected files on the church computer and, where relevant, on the members-area of the church website which is also password protected. If you have provided an email address, please indicate where asked to do so if you are happy for your email address to be included on church group emails. Any such email message will be to inform you of urgent prayer items, important announcements, or last-minute changes to plan. We will never pass on your email address to anyone else. Your email address is also required to provide you with access to the members-only (password protected) area of the church website. As a regular attender you may be given access to the members-area of the website for the function of rotas and some communications but you will not have access to the members address list.

Photographs
From time to time photographs are taken during church events, social occasions or activities. These can be very useful in helping to keep the church congregation aware of things that are happening. Photographs can be used on slides in church services, on social media (closed group only) or on the church website. An identifiable photograph of you is your personal data and therefore you have the right to choose whether your image is used in these ways. Please indicate where asked to do so if you are happy for your photograph to be stored and used. If you do not provide this consent any photograph where you or your dependants are identifiable will be deleted. If you prefer to be consulted for express permission to use any particular identifiable photograph of yourself or your dependants, please indicate where asked to do so.
