When we gather as a church, to sing together as instructed in Psalm 95: "O Come let us sing to the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise,"
we're not merely singing to God, we're singing to one another. We cannot rise above the difficulties we face until we turn our hearts to Jesus and we can encourage each other to do this through song.
